Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival to Ilha Grande

Your 4-day island trip begins at the airport or your hotel in Rio de Janeiro where your Portuguese-speaking driver will pick you up and take you to the port at Costa Verde. From there you will catch a shuttle boat which will take you and other passengers to Vila do Abraao, the main village in Ilha Grande. Upon arrival, our English-speaking representative will welcome and escort you to your pousada. After settling in, you will have the opportunity to get to know Vila do Abraao and review the upcoming adventures.

Day 2: Excursion to the Blue and Green Lagoons
Included: Boat trip (in-group, 5.5h) | Breakfast
Today you will discover the beaches of Ilha Grande and take a trip in a small speedboat to the Blue and Green Lagoons on the onshore side of the island, which is protected from high waves. Together with other travelers and your Portuguese-speaking helmsman, you will enjoy the impressive scenery of Ilha Grande. In the rather shallow and turquoise water of the Green Lagoon you can snorkel to observe colorful fish and other sea creatures. Afterwards, you will go to the more extensive and deeper Blue Lagoon. If you prefer not to get as wet, you can also discover numerous fish in the crystal clear water from the shore or from the boat.
The boat will then stop at the beaches of Japariz (optional lunch, not included), Praia do Amor, and Feiticeira, where you can enjoy another dip in the water before returning to Vila do Abraao.

Day 3: Leisure Time in Ilha Grande

Today is up to you. You can take an optional excursion to the heavenly Lopes Mendes beach, hire a guide for a hike through the rainforest, or just enjoy the nearby beaches and the lively Vila do Abraao.

Day 4: Departure
Included: Transfer (in-group and private, 4h) | Breakfast
Following breakfast at the pousada, you will take the shuttle boat back to the coast where your Portuguese-speaking driver will pick you up for your transfer to Rio de Janeiro.
