First Brazilian soccer stadium has been completed

The first completed Brazilian soccer stadium for the 2014 World Cup, the Estadio Aderaldo Placido Castelo in Fortaleza, was officially inaugurated by the Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff last night. According to FIFA, the stadium had to be renovated, modernized and expanded to meet the high requirements for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The costs of construction are amount to nearly 188 million Euros. On the 27th January 2013 two regional games will be held in the new stadium of Fortaleza, as well as some matches of the Confederations Cup, which will be held on site in June 2013.
