Santa Catarina - in the South of Brazil
Santa Catarina is located in southern Brazil and covers an area of 95.400 square km. It is the smallest State of the country.
The State borders of Argentina at the west and the ocean at the east, the region of Rio Grande de Sul at the south and the region of Parana in the north it is based in the geographical center of the southern and southeastern regions.
The capital, Florianópolis - short Floripa, is 720 km from São Paulo, 1.150 from Rio de Janeiro and 1.850 from Buenos Aires/Argentina away and welcomes visitors from all these places. Floripa has 100 beaches, in part responsible for the title the city shares with neighboring Balneário Camboriú, as the city with the best quality of living in all Brazil!!
