After dinner, you and your English-speaking guide will go out on a motor canoe to explore some small creeks and listen to the calls of the abundant nocturnal animals. You will probably be able to spot some caimans, and with luck even some birds, snakes, and frogs.

At around midday, you will return to the boat and have the opportunity to cool off with a refreshing dip in the river. In the afternoon, you will cruise through Anavilhanas National Park, one of the world's largest freshwater archipelagos, with its fascinating maze of waterways. After lunch, we will stop at a white-sand beach, where you can swim in the dark water of the Rio Negro (depending on the water level) and try to spot pink river dolphins.
