Upon departure, you will sail upstream on the Rio Negro. You can sit comfortably on the deck and soak up the unique surroundings until you reach the Anavilhanas Archipelago, the largest river island archipelago in the world.

After lunch, you will take your first trip in a smaller boat to get a closer look at the flora and fauna. With luck, you may spot monkeys, river dolphins, and a variety of colorful birds. You will also have the opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the river.
