The small and family run Pousada Embauba is located in the seaside resort Estaleiro, about 50 miles (80 kilometers) from Florianopolis and the international airport. Situated on a green hill, Pousada Embauba has a great view over the wide bay of Praia Estaleiro. Moreover, the accommodation is surrounded by lush nature, making it an ideal place for relaxing moments. The quiet place offers some simple restaurants on the beach, which may be closed out of season. Balneario Camboriu, about 6 miles (10 kilometers) away, is much livelier, where there are numerous stores, restaurants and bars.
