Pousada Naturalia is located in a quiet area of Ilha Grande, one of Brazil's most famous islands in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The island is about 18.5 miles (30 kilometers) long and is inhabited by about 3,000 people. Pousada Naturalia is close to the small town of Vila do Abraao, the only village on Ilha Grande. Surrounded by tropical plants, just 200 feet (60 meters) from the main beach Praia da Abraao, Pousada Naturalia guarantees an unforgettable stay on the beautiful tropical island. The center of Vila do Abraao can be reached within a 10 minutes walk. The international airport of Rio de Janeiro is about 100 miles (160 kilometers) away from the island. There is the option to get to the island by bus, from to the ferry boat terminal of Angra dos Reis you take a boat to the town Vila do Abraao. The ferry takes a little bit more than an hour for the 15.5 miles (25 kilometers) long distance to the main land.
