The farm cultivates many tropical fruits, such as cassava, guarana, coconuts and acai - the Pousada is therefore partially self-sufficient. Most of the land is Atlantic Rainforest, and registered as a private natural reserve. On the meadows in front of Pousada Fazenda Rio Negro, which has an organic certificate, its guests can admire a beautiful starry sky at night. It is a place of absolute tranquility, only the birds and the wind in the trees are noisy here. The Rio das Almas river is 700 m away and offers clean water and bathing facilities.
