The charming Fazenda Barranco Alto is located about 75 miles (120 kilometers) north of the small town of Aquidauana, in the middle of the breathtaking nature of the South Pantanal. The farm, which was built at the beginning of the 20th century and includes a guest house and its own cattle farm, is considered one of the oldest in the entire region and is an excellent starting point for animal watching, boat trips and jeep safaris in the South Pantanal.
The owners Marina and Lucas, as well as the entire staff, always strive to find sustainable solutions for accommodation and farming in order to preserve the environment. The tours and activities are always carried out by the owners themselves and adapted to individual wishes of the guests and the weather conditions.
