Sugar Loaf by Cable Car (4h, group) Brazil | Rio de Janeiro
This group tour begins with a panoramic city tour of Rio de Janeiro. We pass the famous districts of Flamengo and will take you to the neighborhood of Urca, where one of the best known symbols of Rio is located: the Sugar Loaf. From here the visitors have the most beautiful view over the southern part of the city: Corcovado Hill, Copacabana, Downtown and the other side of the Guanabara Bay.
Itinerary
After collecting all passengers at their hotels, this group tour begins with a panoramic city tour through the famous districts of Rio. Passing Flamengo and Urca, where one of the best known symbols of the city is located: the Sugar Loaf. This visit is made in two steps, by cable car. The first cable car takes the passengers to Urca Hill, which is 215 meters high and from where the visitors have a beautiful view over the Guanabara Bay with its islands, the Rio-Niteroi Bridge and the famous Corcovado Hill. From the top of the Sugar Loaf Mountain, at 395 meters above sea level, we can enjoy the view of Copacabana Beach and the sea. After the Sugar Loaf your bus will pass by the Sambodrome and the Metropolitan Cathedral. The bus will also pass the traditional Cinelandia Square with the historical buildings, the Municipal Theater and the National Library. Afterwards the passengers will be returned to their respective hotels.
