The Pousada des Artes is located in a historic 18th century building that has been extensively renovated, in Salvador’s historic district. Pelourinho, the most famous part of Salvador, is a recognized UNESCO World Heritage site located about 0.6 mi (1 kilometers) from the accommodation. It can be easily reached either on foot or by public transport.
The Pousada offers a privileged view of "Baia de Todos os Santos." The beautiful Praia da Barra is only 15 minutes away by car and the international airport can be reached in about 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
