Around 8:00 AM, you will be picked up from your hotel in Manaus or the airport and taken to the port. After boarding the expedition vessel *Zaltana*, you will have time to settle into your cabin and meet the crew before being welcomed on the upper observation deck.

As the journey begins, you will approach the unique natural spectacle known as the "Meeting of the Waters." Here, the Rio Negro and the Rio Solimões converge, flowing side by side for kilometers before finally merging to form the Amazon River.

After lunch, you will embark on a cultural excursion to learn about the lives of the *Ribeirinhos*—the traditional river communities along the Rio Negro. You will visit a family with roots in the indigenous Tucano and Desana ethnic groups, gaining an authentic glimpse into their daily lives. During the visit, you will learn about the preservation of their cultural traditions, as well as their use of medicinal plants and traditional craftsmanship.

The journey continues with a culinary experience on board. Dinner features a composition of regional flavors, blending Amazonian ingredients with modern influences.

Afterward, you are invited to wind down the day by attending an expert lecture, offering deeper insights into the region's biodiversity, culture, and ecosystems.

Today, your journey takes you to the Anavilhanas Archipelago, one of the world's largest river-island landscapes. During breakfast, you can marvel at the Amazon rainforest from the deck before the *Zaltana* reaches the Rio Cuieiras, a tributary of the Rio Negro.

In the morning, you will visit the Três Unidos community. During a rainforest hike lasting approximately one hour, you will learn how this community of indigenous descent organizes itself. Accompanied by your local guide, you will gain insight into social structures, the local school, traditional festivals, and community projects aimed at preserving the community's culture.

After lunch on board the *Zaltana*, the rest of the day is dedicated to wildlife spotting. Gliding silently across the waters—which often mirror the sky—in electric canoes, you will explore the pristine jungle of the Rio Cuieiras. You will have the chance to discover a wide variety of bird species, primates, sloths, and aquatic wildlife of the Amazon region. With a bit of luck, you might even spot *botos*—the Amazon's famous pink river dolphins.

In the evening, you have the option to join a night safari. This excursion offers a chance to encounter the rainforest's nocturnal inhabitants, which are rarely seen during the day; in the darkness, for instance, the glowing eyes of caimans may become visible in the water.

You will return to the *Zaltana* for dinner, where another fine-dining experience awaits you.

Today begins before sunrise. You will set out with your guide on small exploration boats to discover the Amazon rainforest’s wildlife as it stirs to life. The jungle is particularly active during these early morning hours, offering you the chance to encounter an extraordinary variety of bird species, including macaws, toucans, and many others.

Afterward, you return to the *Zaltana* for breakfast. While you enjoy some downtime, the expedition vessel makes its way to your next destination on the Rio Negro.

Following lunch, you can explore the surroundings by canoe and refresh yourself with a swim in the Rio Negro. Surrounded by dense, pristine jungle, you can fully immerse yourself in the rainforest's awe-inspiring atmosphere.

A special highlight awaits at sunset. A specially set-up camp on a pristine white sand beach hosts an expert talk, followed by a unique dinner experience. Under the open sky—surrounded by the sounds of the jungle and the tranquility of the river—you will be treated to the *Zaltana’s* fine cuisine. After a wonderful evening spent sharing stories and experiences, you return to the *Zaltana* for the night.

After breakfast, you will set out with your guide for a cultural experience. The focus is on the voices and traditions of women from local rainforest communities. Through sustainable economic activities, these women have developed initiatives centered on the production of essential oils and natural cosmetics. In doing so, they generate income while preserving ancestral knowledge and protecting the surrounding natural environment.

During the visit, you will also gain insight into the culinary traditions of the Rio Negro region. You will learn how traditional cassava dishes—such as tapioca, tucupi, and arubé—are prepared and are invited to assist local families in the process. You can also sample fresh juices made from cupuaçu, açaí, and other Amazonian fruits.

After lunch aboard the *Zaltana* and some time to relax, you will head out on a boat excursion. Your guide will demonstrate traditional fishing techniques practiced by local communities for generations. You will return to the *Zaltana* at sunset, where dinner awaits you.

As the *Zaltana* heads back toward Manaus, there is time to reflect on the experiences of the past few days and enjoy the passing river scenery.

After lunch on board the *Zaltana*, you will bid farewell to the crew and be transferred to your hotel or the airport in Manaus.

Your Amazon journey concludes upon your return to Manaus, leaving you with vivid impressions of the region's nature, wildlife, river landscapes, and cultural diversity.
