Here you will get to know one of the most visited places in Brazil: The impressive Iguacu waterfalls. The waterfalls are located in both Brazil and Argentina. On the Brazilian side there is an impressive view over the waterfalls and on the Argentinian side you will get closer and experience the waterfalls more directly, especially the impressive “Garganta del diablo” (Devil’s throat).
Day 1: Foz do Iguacu / Brazilian side of the Waterfalls
Once you arrive at Foz de Iguacu Airport (IGU), you will be picked up by one of our tour guides and taken to your accommodation at Hotel Slaviero Suites. Depending on your arrival time, you might go directly to the Brazilian side of the waterfalls from the airport. Your luggage would be safely left in the car and watched by your driver. Following, it’ll be time to go to the National Park “Parque National do Iguacu” on the Brazilian side, which is about 24 km away from the city. Compared with the Argentinian side, the Brazilian side offers a completely different stunning view of the waterfalls. At the end of the path you will find the “Devil’s Throat” which is the most impressive part of the waterfalls. The tour ends with the upper part of the Iguazu Falls, which is accessible by a panoramic elevator. From there the visitors continue on a path to the “Espaco Porto Canoas” where one can enjoy a wonderful view of the Iguacu River. Afterwards it will be time go back to the hotel in Foz do Iguacu.
