The destination of this safari trip is the Pantanal, one of the largest inland wetlands in the world and home to numerous species of animals and plants. Spend 3 unforgettable days in the middle of stunning nature and experience wild animals first hand. Highlights of this trip are the boat safaris in which you will hopefully be able to see and take pictures of jaguars in their natural habitat.
Day 1: Pantanal / Arrival and Jaguar Safari by Boat
From the Pousada Rio Claro or Piuval the tour continues heading towards Porto Jofre. There you will find yourselves in wild, almost untouched nature and in the middle of the rivers: Rio Cuiaba, Rio Tres Iramos, Rio Sao Lourenco and Rio Piquiri. If you are lucky you will be able to see jaguars, large otters, tapirs, capybaras and other species from the boat. Lunch will be a picnic on an open countryside. In the afternoon you’ll get back on the boat and return to Hotel Porto Jofre

Day 2: Pantanal / Jaguar Safari by boat
Directly after breakfast the adventure continues with a boat excursion. Here you will spend another day in the middle of wonderful nature and wild animals. The goal of this day is also to look for jaguars in their natural habitat. On the drive back to the pousada on the Transpantaneira there will be a chance to look out for many more animals, perhaps besides the diverse birds you’ll be able to spot some anteaters and monkeys. You’ll arrive back at the Pousada in the evening and then dinner will be served.
