The Pantanal is a habitat for many types of animals such as monkeys, large otters, tapirs, capybaras, anacondas, wolves, pumas, and jaguars. You will be impressed by all of the biodiversity and the unique landscapes that the Pantanal has to offer.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cuiabá & Boat Tour
Included: Private transfer to the Pantanal (approx. 1.5h) | boat tour (group) | lunch and dinner
Upon arrival at the Cuiabá Airport, you will be greeted in the arrivals hall by your private English-speaking guide, who will accompany you throughout your stay. All transfers included are private, while the excursions will take place in small groups; however, your private English-speaking guide is dedicated exclusively to you.
From Cuiabá, you will travel to the northern Pantanal, heading toward the region of Poconé. Before checking into Pousada Piuval, you will stop at Rio Claro for lunch followed by a boat trip, where you will have your first opportunity to observe the wildlife of the Pantanal.
After the tour, you will continue to Pousada Piuval, where you will check into your room, enjoy dinner, and settle in for your first night in the Pantanal.

Day 2: Sunrise Safari, Wildlife Safari & Night Safari
Included: Sunrise safari, open-vehicle wildlife safari, night safari (in-group) | breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Your day begins early with a sunrise safari in an open safari vehicle. Early mornings are one of the best times for wildlife viewing, as many species are active at dawn. After breakfast at the lodge, you will head out again for a wildlife safari in an open-vehicle.
Following lunch at the lodge, you will have time to rest before heading back out into the Pantanal for another open-vehicle safari. At dusk, you will embark on a night safari, where nocturnal animals such as caimans, owls, and other night dwellers can often be spotted.

Day 3: Sunrise Safari & Further Wildlife Exploration
Included: Sunrise safari, open-vehicle wildlife safari, night spotlight tour (in-group) | breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Another early start takes you out for a sunrise safari. After breakfast, you will continue exploring the region on another open-vehicle safari, increasing your chances of spotting mammals and bird species such as macaws, storks, giant anteaters, or tapirs.
After lunch and some time to relax at the lodge, the afternoon brings another open-vehicle safari. As night falls, you will join a spotlight night tour in search of the Pantanal’s nocturnal animals. Dinner will be served upon return to the lodge.

Day 4: Sunrise Safari and Departure
Included: Sunrise safari | breakfast | private transfer to Cuiabá Airport (2h)
Before breakfast, you will head out once more for a sunrise safari, a final opportunity to observe the Pantanal’s wildlife in the soft early light.
Depending on your flight schedule, it may be possible to join one additional wildlife activity before departure. After checkout, your guide will drive you back to Cuiabá Airport with plenty of time for your outgoing flight.

- Other pousada guests can also take part in the excursions with their own guides, however this is not always the case.
- You will travel with a private English-speaking guide who will accompany you from the first to the last day of your tour. This travel package can also be booked with private excursions (price available upon request).
- All excursions have a duration of about 2 hours, while sunrise and sunset excursions are a little shorter.
- The itinerary can be adjusted due to weather conditions and animal abundance on site. Animal sightings cannot be guaranteed.
