Pousada Piuval is located nearby the famous highway Transpantaneira. The local town Pocone is about 7.5 miles (12 kilometers) away and the distance to the state capital Cuiabá is 68 miles (110 kilometers), the drive from the international airport Marechal Rondon in Cuiaba takes about two hours. The North Pantanal is visited the whole year by international visitors ans researchers because of its amazing nature, sports fishing and wildlife.
