Brazil travel: Morro de Sao Paulo
Morro de Sao Paulo is located on the Ilha de Tinhare in the state of Bahia. The small village has around 2000 inhabitants. The island is dominated by great sandy beaches filled with coconut trees, white sand, crystal blue waters and historical monuments. The village maintains a great tourist infrastructure within a peaceful environment. The charming city’s numerous bars and restaurants are always first to attract visitors. Sports activities and exploring the flora and fauna can be easily combined in Morro de Sao Paulo. The beaches do not have names, but are ordered by numbers. The first beach (Primeira Praia) is a fantastic destination for surfers. The underwater world can best be discovered at the second beach. Nature lovers should make a note of the third beach, where nearby lies the island Saudade, which is reminiscent of a tropical garden and has a number of coral swimming pools. The fourth beach spans over 20 kilometres and is home to a beautiful natural landscape. Morro de Sao Paulo maintains its warm to hot temperatures throughout the year. The chance for the most sunshine hours, the lowest rainfall and the highest temperature is in the Brazilian summer, from December to February. During this time, the average temperature range falls around 22 to 33 degrees Celsius, with up to seven hours of sunshine daily. April to July are the months with the most precipitation . In the Brazilian winter time, temperatures drop to an average of 20 to 27 degrees Celsius.
